• Voice Transcription: GDPR-compliant self-hosted service with secure third-party backup

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 AI Services (Paid Plan Only - Optional)

• OpenAI: Description enhancement and text generation
• Data sent: Defect descriptions and related text only (non-invasive information)
• Important: AI features can be disabled in settings at any time

5.2 Voice Transcription (Paid Plan Only)

• Primary: Self-hosted GDPR-compliant transcription service (data not stored or used for training)
• Backup: Secure third-party service (data not stored or used for training)
• Data sent: Voice recordings only when you choose to record

5.3 Cloud Services (Paid Plan Only)

• Google Firebase: Database backup and authentication

Building Survey Pro is intended for professional surveyors and is not designed for use by individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your data may be processed in the United Kingdom, United States, and European Union. We comply with:
